The archive of what I posted on Twitter, which I now self host due to a lack of trust in Twitter and some other reasons.

I'll soon begin refelcting all my Mastodon posts here too. I'm happier self-hosting or maintaining an archive of my content on URLs that I can own.

There are tools to help you do this too. Such as this one from the makers of Eleventy.

@ppk This originated from a colleague who was not in the business of writing code. She was clapping with delight at the feeling of writing a few lines of HTML and then seeing it arrive live on the web. (Which was rather fun!)

A quick way to experience your own product is so valuable.

@raz_c @SharafChris That's exactly what I'm curious about. My old PC keyboard from years gone by had a long travel. And I hated it when I needed to touch that again. Felt wasteful.

šŸ•šŸˆ All new @Netlify team members (not just devs) are invited to write a few lines of HTML to add their pets to http://petsof.netlify.com and experience our CI/CD flow.

PRs with titles like "Guff" make me smile.
As does "Say hello to our little friends"

Some refreshing honesty right there! Love it.

@feather Next moment of honesty... how many of those are pointing at things, and how many do you just refresh each year while thinking, ā€œmaybe this year I’ll make that idea I had for this domainā€ ?

(This question does not suggest a behaviour of my own at all)

Sounds like I need to stumble into a mechanical keyboard emporium and play with umpteen options and configurations.

@AndyDavies That’s what I thought. I’m hearing that there are many options with regard to level of click feel and sound.

Which makes me squint in the direction of those LOUD clackety-clackers even more!

The voyage of discovery continues.

Curious - have you tried a few before finding what suits you best?
