The archive of what I posted on Twitter, which I now self host due to a lack of trust in Twitter and some other reasons.

I'll soon begin refelcting all my Mastodon posts here too. I'm happier self-hosting or maintaining an archive of my content on URLs that I can own.

There are tools to help you do this too. Such as this one from the makers of Eleventy.

@hankchizljaw @Netlify You and I are but 2 of those 750,000 developers.
But yeah, our ~12.3M different @eleven_ty sites have made their mark!

To be clear, these 750,000 developers are not all working on the same project.

I mean, can you imagine the daily standup? https://twitter.com/philhawksworth/status/1229785313079439369

It boggles my mind that more than 750,000 developers have used @Netlify. And that far more that 12 Million sites have been launched.

I take my hat off to the team who created a platform to support this volume of sites & deployments. It's such fun to work with them in this space. https://twitter.com/Netlify/status/1229768136540467201

@hankchizljaw @eleven_ty @piccalilli_ Oh yes! Nice.
I'm considering adding email notifications back to the commenter if/when their comments get approved.

Partly because it would be nice to demo.
Partly because I wake to comments saying "testing this thing" which I don't moderate until I've put on some trousers

@hankchizljaw @eleven_ty @piccalilli_ Oooh yes please!
Take it.
Improve it.
Shout about it.

I should revisit it really. I think I could refactor with newer @eleven_ty goodness and simplify things a touch.

I have to say though, that moderating comments via slack messages is gratifying. (At the scale I need)

@hankchizljaw @eleven_ty I ❤️ it!
It simplified my build pipeline so much as getting data then using it in templates is a very common pattern.

@seldo And I probably land myself in “the worst human” category by opting for you-are-ell, but then explicitly telling you on the side that I know they are URIs but that I am a cool person so didn’t want to “well actually” a Twitter poll.
