There is a surprisingly high yield of gold in this thread. https://twitter.com/robertpopper/status/1232669184510824449

@EliotLandrum @sarah_edo @Tzmanics @shortdiv @jlengstorf You are beginning to correctly reverse engineer this image.

@MoonlightLuke @Netlify Thanks! I’ve enjoyed the remote culture from the moment I joined. One of the benefits of things being set up that way from the very start

@brianmackinney @Netlify We also have a "Dream Job" role which is not defined. Just in case you don't quite see the right thing. Lots of good things have happened via that route!

Excited about our snazzy new Careers page at @Netlify.
And about the snazzy new roles available.
Is one of them for you?

@bepsays @jlengstorf @Gatsby I like that too, and @Netlify Build Plugins can help facilitate that.
This is a nice example of using gatsby-parallel-runner though which could parallelise other tasks too. Running tests was suggested in one of the threads, as an example.

Now with added video demo, @jlengstorf explains how you can double the speed of your @gatsby builds with gatsby-parallel-runner.

@jaffathecake This looks very much like my desk view. I love it!

@steeevg Sorry to be the one to break that news to you about Birdseye/Findus, Steve.
Luckily, this is the only stupid/shocking thing we've done back in Blighty in your absence.

@steeevg Are we calling French crêpes, "British pancakes"? Because I think crêpes and American pancakes cannot be compared as for-like items. They are both wonderful and magical and I won't let you force me to choose.
This is the only contribution we Brits made to pancakes. For shame!!!

Woah! A good day for @gatsbyjs build speeds! ✨
First the gatsby-parallel-runner contribution from @biilmann, and now a tutorial on using it from @jlengstorf to make image-heavy Gatsby builds on @Netlify nearly 2× faster!

@hansalbern @Netlify @biilmann @jlengstorf That's configurable in a number of ways.
Deploy Contexts give lots of control (here are the docs for that: https://docs.netlify.com/site-deploys/overview/?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=support-pnh&utm_campaign=devex#deploy-contexts)
..or you can control what will trigger a build in your @Netlify admin.

"..allow both plugins and core parts of Gatsby to parallelize certain tasks by delegating the work to a large pool of serverless functions"
Clever stuff from @biilmann in this contribution to @gatsbyjs which could help to speed up gatsby builds for all.

It's only a month since our company all-hands week. But I miss my lovely fellow Netlify-ers 💚
Some nice reflections from my ace colleague, @perrysetgo here 👉 https://www.netlify.com/blog/2020/02/24/our-values-our-vision-reflections-from-the-2020-netlify-all-hands/?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=all-hands-pnh&utm_campaign=devex
(Although it's probably for the best that the various karaoke moments didn't make the edit)

@rchrdnsh @Netlify @letsencrypt Good question. It's because @Netlify are not themselves a domain registrar. More detail on that in the community forums:
