The archive of what I posted on Twitter, which I now self host due to a lack of trust in Twitter and some other reasons.

I'll soon begin refelcting all my Mastodon posts here too. I'm happier self-hosting or maintaining an archive of my content on URLs that I can own.

There are tools to help you do this too. Such as this one from the makers of Eleventy.

Excited about our snazzy new Careers page at @Netlify.
And about the snazzy new roles available.

Is one of them for you?

@bepsays @jlengstorf @Gatsby I like that too, and @Netlify Build Plugins can help facilitate that.

This is a nice example of using gatsby-parallel-runner though which could parallelise other tasks too. Running tests was suggested in one of the threads, as an example.

Now with added video demo, @jlengstorf explains how you can double the speed of your @gatsby builds with gatsby-parallel-runner.

@steeevg Are we calling French crêpes, "British pancakes"? Because I think crêpes and American pancakes cannot be compared as for-like items. They are both wonderful and magical and I won't let you force me to choose.

This is the only contribution we Brits made to pancakes. For shame!!!

Woah! A good day for @gatsbyjs build speeds! ✨

First the gatsby-parallel-runner contribution from @biilmann, and now a tutorial on using it from @jlengstorf to make image-heavy Gatsby builds on @Netlify nearly 2× faster!

@hansalbern @Netlify @biilmann @jlengstorf That's configurable in a number of ways.
Deploy Contexts give lots of control (here are the docs for that: https://docs.netlify.com/site-deploys/overview/?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=support-pnh&utm_campaign=devex#deploy-contexts)

..or you can control what will trigger a build in your @Netlify admin.

"..allow both plugins and core parts of Gatsby to parallelize certain tasks by delegating the work to a large pool of serverless functions"

Clever stuff from @biilmann in this contribution to @gatsbyjs which could help to speed up gatsby builds for all.
