The archive of what I posted on Twitter, which I now self host due to a lack of trust in Twitter and some other reasons.

I'll soon begin refelcting all my Mastodon posts here too. I'm happier self-hosting or maintaining an archive of my content on URLs that I can own.

There are tools to help you do this too. Such as this one from the makers of Eleventy.

@sarah_edo @altryne @Netlify Heh! Yeah I agree. I often resort to having some "what does that button do?" text.

@ron4ex @Netlify @vercel That works too. 😄

I mostly suggested a branch as it sounded like you wanted to use the same site repo. You could also have different folders in one repo, and set different publish paths in the different sites.

@jaffathecake Yeah, these tweets are like someone writing slogan ideas on wall of post-its.

But this statement helped clarify things 👉

Yay, thanks @sarah_edo!

If 3.5 hours sounds like a lot to swallow, you can see how I've broken it down into more bitesized sections here...

@ron4ex @Netlify @vercel Sure thing.

There are a few ways you could do this on @Netlify depending on your needs. Simplest might be to add the pages your want to exist on a subdomain into a branch, and enable branch subdomains.

@heydonworks There’s a chance it might have been ok if they had done a big fat wide conga instead of the traditional long snake where they fill their lungs from the panting exhaust of their neighbours.

But that looks more like a search party than an infect-each-other party I suppose.
