I'll soon begin refelcting all my Mastodon posts here too. I'm happier self-hosting or maintaining an archive of my content on URLs that I can own.

There are tools to help you do this too. Such as this one from the makers of Eleventy.

@smashingmag @NickColley @scottmathson @zachleat @Netlify The button is mechanical to give a nice tactile feedback. (Because I wanted @cassidoo to like it)

But to make @sarah_edo and @smashingmag happy it needs to be some smooth, slow transition? I'm doomed.

(I find it helps just to make a little *click* sound as you press it)
